    Bayo Changes His Mind

    Name: ______________________   Date: ____________

Bayo walks into the cinema foyer with his friend Lena. The foyer is big and bright. There are posters on every wall. Bayo looks at all the posters. He sees a poster for an action film. The film is called 'Storm Riders'. "I want to watch that one," he says. "It looks really exciting!" Lena looks at the poster. "Are you sure?" she asks. "It starts in five minutes." Bayo nods his head. "Yes, I am sure," he says. He walks to the ticket desk. The man at the desk smiles at him. "Two tickets for 'Storm Riders', please," says Bayo. He feels very happy about his choice. Bayo and Lena wait near the door to the screen. Bayo looks around the foyer.

He sees another poster. This poster is for a comedy film. The film is called 'The Wrong Suitcase'. There are funny pictures on the poster. People in the queue are laughing at it. Bayo reads the short description next to the poster. "It sounds really funny," he says quietly. He looks at his tickets. He looks at the comedy poster again. He thinks for a moment. "Lena, I think I made the wrong choice," he says. Lena raises her eyebrows. "But you were so sure!" she says. Bayo shrugs his shoulders. "I know, but I really want to see the funny one now," he says. "I changed my mind." Lena laughs at Bayo.

"You are so funny!" she says. Bayo smiles and feels a little embarrassed. He walks back to the ticket desk. "Excuse me," he says to the man. "Can I change my tickets, please?" The man at the desk looks at him. "Of course," the man says with a smile. "What film do you want?" "Two tickets for 'The Wrong Suitcase', please," says Bayo. He pays for the new tickets. He gives the old tickets back. Bayo and Lena walk to the new screen together. "I hope this film is good!" says Lena. "Me too!" says Bayo. They both laugh. Bayo is happy with his new choice. He learns that it is okay to change your mind. Sometimes a new idea is a better idea.

    Bayo Reconsiders

    Name: ______________________   Date: ____________

Bayo stepped into the bright, bustling cinema foyer with his friend Lena, immediately drawn to the row of film posters lining the walls. Without much hesitation, he pointed confidently at the poster for 'Storm Riders', a high-octane action film featuring explosions and dramatic chase scenes. "That's the one," he announced, already striding towards the ticket desk. Lena followed, looking slightly skeptical, but said nothing as he purchased two tickets. As they moved away from the desk, Bayo felt certain he had made a solid choice, and the energy of the foyer around them seemed to match his excitement. While they waited for the screen doors to open, Bayo found his gaze drifting across the foyer to a poster he had completely overlooked earlier. It advertised a comedy called 'The Wrong Suitcase', and the description beneath it promised a story full of mishaps, misunderstandings, and genuine warmth.

A small group of people nearby were already chuckling at the images on the poster, and Bayo noticed a familiar feeling beginning to stir inside him. He glanced down at his ticket, then back at the poster, and then at Lena. "I think I might have been a bit hasty," he admitted quietly. Lena raised an eyebrow. "You were absolutely convinced two minutes ago," she reminded him. "I know," he said, with a sheepish smile, "but I've genuinely changed my mind." Rather than dismissing the feeling, Bayo decided to act on it and approached the ticket desk once more.

"I'm sorry to bother you," he said politely to the attendant, "but would it be possible to exchange these for 'The Wrong Suitcase'?" The attendant nodded without any fuss and processed the exchange efficiently. As Bayo and Lena made their way to the correct screen, she teased him gently about his sudden change of heart. "I just hope your instincts are right this time," she said, grinning. "So do I," Bayo laughed, feeling lighter now that he had trusted his gut feeling. By the time the lights in the cinema dimmed, he was already certain he had made the right call.
